Lake Lanoto'o Volcanic Crater Lake Hike & Swim

Overview
Embark on an adventurous 5km hike through a dense rainforest, on a 5-5.5 hour trip to Lake Lanoto'o. The half-day excursion is perfect for travellers who like to get off the beaten track to see and do something a little different. With maximum six people per group, you enjoy a more immersive and dynamic tour experience. After a moderate sometimes steep ascent through the dense rainforest, cool off in the volcanic crater lake.

Tour details
Pick up at central Apia accommodation and a short drive up the Cross Island Road. The road to the track gets rough toward the end and we'll get as close as we can before venturing out on foot. After arriving at the end of the 4wd track we start to ascend the crater - a steep hike, often wet and slippery but well worth the effort. Swimming and snacks at the lake before returning on the trail to the vehicle for lunch and then back to Apia.
