Eco-friendly digital business cards

16/4/2025

In today's fast-paced, digitally-driven world, even the simplest of tools are getting a smart upgrade. For years, the humble business card has remained a networking staple, a tangible exchange of professional identity. However, the limitations of paper are becoming increasingly apparent – they're easily lost, quickly outdated, and frankly, not the most environmentally conscious choice. That's why I was intrigued by the concept of digital business cards, and after exploring a few options, I landed on V1cE. My experience so far has not only streamlined my networking efforts but has also impressed me with their commitment to both aesthetics and service.

From the outset, two aspects of V1cE stood out: their commitment to being eco-friendly and the undeniably professional look of their cards. In an age where sustainability is paramount, the shift away from constantly printing and reprinting paper cards feels like a significant step in the right direction. Knowing that my networking efforts aren't contributing to unnecessary paper waste is a definite plus. The V1cE card I received  exudes a sense of modern professionalism, feels substantial and looks sophisticated, making a far better first impression than a creased or dog-eared paper card ever could.

Beyond the tangible product, the service I received from V1cE during the setup process was truly commendable. As someone who isn't always the most tech-savvy, I appreciated how great their help was in getting my digital card up and running. The platform was intuitive enough, but when I had a few minor queries, their support team was incredibly responsive and helpful. They guided me through the process with clear and concise instructions, ensuring that my digital profile accurately reflected all the information I wanted to share. This level of support made the initial transition seamless and stress-free.

Furthermore, the prompt postage of my physical card was a pleasant surprise. In a world where shipping delays seem to be the norm, my V1cE card arrived quickly and well-packaged. This efficiency speaks volumes about their operational processes and their commitment to a positive customer experience. It was reassuring to know that once I had finalised my digital profile, the physical embodiment of my new networking tool would arrive without unnecessary delays.

Finally, the ongoing great support I've received has solidified my positive impression of V1cE. Whether it's a quick question about a feature or a minor adjustment I wanted to make to my profile, their team has been consistently responsive and helpful. This level of dedication to customer satisfaction truly sets them apart. It's not just about selling a product; it's about providing a comprehensive and supportive experience.

Moving forward, I'm excited to fully integrate my V1cE digital business card into my networking strategy. The ease of sharing my information with a simple tap or scan, the ability to update my details instantly, and the professional image it projects are all significant advantages over traditional paper cards. If you're looking for a modern, eco-conscious, and effective way to connect professionally, my experience with V1cE suggests they are definitely worth considering. They offer not just a product, but a well-rounded service backed by great support and a commitment to quality. It's a step into the future of networking that I'm glad I've taken.

Visit the V1ce website and check out their NFC Business Card options, you will be pleased you did!

Hiking in Samoa

23/6/2019

Hiking in Samoa is so vastly different to most other countries, even those in the South Pacific. The excursions here vary from several hundred metres of extremely steep climbing up multiple zigzags to 10km or more through lush rainforest and plantations. Several things in common here are extreme humidity, heat, often lots of mud and lava rocks. Day hikes normally won’t exceed 4 hours but the destinations are so utterly spectacular and unique, ranging from volcanic crater lakes, lava tubes to lava sea cliffs and arches. Waterfalls, swimming holes and beaches abound and are an integral part of our adventures…….you just have to cool off, several times a day.
Essential Gear:
  • Sturdy footwear (Hiking boots if you have them)
  • Poles are very handy
  • Short sleeve cotton shirt (not as hot as a synthetic tee-shirt)
  • Shorts (synthetic preferred as it dries quickly)
  • Swimwear
  • Water bottle
  • Plastic bags (to rainproof your valuables)
  • Camera
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Daypack

Some of our most popular hiking tours are:
  • Mountain to Mangrove - Hike & Kayak
  • Volcanic Crater Lake - hike & Swim
  • The Three Peaks of Upolu (which includes Lake Lanoto'o from above)
  • National Park Lava Cliffs & Black Sand Beach
